Matthews Marking Systems is seeking a Product Analyst to join our growing team and help support the full product portfolio with key strategic and operational projects. This is an role ideal for someone looking for a career path in Product Management.

As Product Analyst, you will be delivering critical support to our product success through research and data discovery on products, markets and competitors. You will be gaining knowledge and exposure to all Matthews product lines while using a variety of tools to extract information leading to new product ideas and growth opportunities. You will bring your own critical analytics skills and will have the autonomy to own your projects but will also learn new techniques from your local team of senior product managers, building your professional experience as you go.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

o Gather customer feedback and conduct market and competitive analysis

o Mine and analyze product performance data

o Organize, maintain and share intelligence across the organization

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years of relevant professional experience, e.g. pricing analyst, supply analyst, financial analyst, market analyst
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or Related Field
  • Advanced Degree (MBA, Masters) preferred
  • Strong financial acumen and numeric reasoning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Team-focused, collaborative attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take initiative
  • A great sense of humor, curiosity and energy
