What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urban Farmer (m/f/d) - 20h/Week position at infarm?
Field Grower, Regensburg
As a Field Grower you are responsible for taking care of our plants at our Points of Sale (supermarkets, restaurants) and use your excellent customer service skills to inform and inspire customers about our product. You have a passion for plants and top-quality food and are an ambassador for Infarm and our mission. Moreover, having high attention to detail and being well organised are among your strongest skills.
In that position you are working part time (20h/week); specific working days can be fixed at a later stage. With our own Infarm cars you will hit the road and travel through Regensburg and places around.
Responsibilities
- Harvest, plant and package Infarm plants while ensuring the delivery of high standard produce to our clients with minimal food waste
- Interact with customers, providing top-notch customer service
- Protect the health of our plants by applying basic plant protection measures and keeping the farms squeaky-clean
- Report on harvest records and plant issues using our internal Infarm app
- Report on customer feedback and compensation needs according to Infarm guidelines
- Maintain current marketing materials on farms in customer locations
- Perform basic maintenance of farms when needed
- Follow workflow and schedule
- Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Health and Safety legislation and guidelines
Requirements
- Valid drivers license and working visa
- You are able to work independently and ideally have experience working in a a retail environment or in customer service
- German (min. B2 level) and English language skills
- “Rote Karte” or equivalent certificate, or willing to take the course
- A passion for plants, sustainability or nutrition
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye and caring for cleanliness
