Position Summary
In this role you will use core accounting and financial skills to carry out the accounting and problem-solving activities needed to ensure accurate financial reporting for Infineum USA and its compliance with internal business and financial procedures.
The successful candidate will work closely with members of Infineum finance and other business colleagues located both locally and across the world.
Key Outputs: What we can expect from you
· Carry out month-end and year-end financial close activities. This means using SAP transactions to make financial entries, coordinating with contacts within Finance and other business functions to ensure that complete and accurate information is received in time for the close.
· Support the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reviews.
· Respond to general accounting and financial inquiries from business.
· Support the Finance Manager to accomplish functional and company-wide objectives, by participating in and completing financial and business projects as needed.
· Carry out routine accounting tasks associated with the Accountant role, such as payroll and indirect taxes (e.g. GST/HST).
· Any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge / Experience
· A BA / BS in Accounting or Finance is required. Progress towards a CPA certification or an MBA degree is a plus.
· 2 years experience of working in a professional environment is essential.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills are also required. Experience with SAP is preferred. Exposure to data analytics and business digitalization projects is also a plus.
