Electrical Supervisor

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across the production facilities in Charlevoix.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and lead a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful execution of electrical maintenance and repair activities.

- Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company standards.

- Support in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and maintenance, to identify and resolve electrical issues and optimize production processes.

- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality completion of electrical projects and services.

Requirements:

- Must hold a Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician License

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrical supervisor or a similar role in an industrial setting.

- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and controls.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

- Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.

- Familiarity with safety regulations and electrical codes.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Flexibility to work in a shift-based environment and respond to emergency situations when required.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
