About this Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect with expertise in Azure, AWS, and resiliency to join our dynamic team. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end cloud solutions for our clients. Your deep knowledge of Azure and AWS platforms, coupled with your understanding of resiliency and disaster recovery, will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems.
We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect who will:
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust cloud architectures.
- Develop comprehensive solution designs that leverage Azure and AWS services to meet technical and business objectives.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance by implementing best practices and architectural patterns.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of cloud infrastructure components using Azure and AWS services.
- Design and deploy high availability and fault-tolerant solutions that adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
- Optimize resource utilization, cost management, and security controls within Azure and AWS environments.
- Assess system vulnerabilities and develop strategies for ensuring resiliency and disaster recovery.
- Design and implement backup and restore procedures, replication, and failover mechanisms to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Conduct regular testing and validation of resiliency measures to ensure their effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and proactive mitigation of potential risks.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Azure, AWS, and resiliency, guiding and mentoring team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security specialists, to align cloud solutions with overall architectural goals.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in cloud technologies, Azure, AWS, and resiliency.
Additionally, the ideal candidate has:
- Previous experience in commercial consulting with the ability to manage and advise clients and stakeholders on best-in-class solutions and Infinitive’s value proposition.
- Proven experience supporting the growth of client accounts or a business unit.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, or similar role, with a focus on Azure, AWS, and resiliency.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure and AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and patterns, such as microservices, serverless, and containerization.
- Experience with designing and implementing high availability, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in Azure and AWS (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with other cloud platforms and technologies, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of ITIL and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001) is a plus.
