What are we looking for?
The primary function of the Home Infusion Nurse (RN) is to provide exceptional in-home IV infusion therapy, nursing care, and response management. In addition, the Home Infusion Nurse (RN) will administer and monitor patients in the home during treatment and provide the necessary education on treatment regimen, condition management and treatment self-administration when appropriate. In short, we are looking for an exceptional nurse with strong IV skills who is willing to travel.

Responsibilities:
- Attend an Orientation/Training Call
- Complete trainings for new/specialty infusion therapies
- Provide patient clinical coordination in a variety of environments including patient's home, infusion suites, hospitals, and doctor offices.
- Train patients in the self-administration of treatments and how to quickly recognize and respond to symptoms of adverse physical reactions to treatments.
- Maintain open communication with your Regional Nurse Manager, Staffing Coordinator and other team members regarding scheduling, patient assignments and clinical matters
- Coordinate with your Regional Nurse Manager to address changes in patient condition or drug management issues.
- Document all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, treatments, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process, and training activities in a timely manner using company issued tools
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state(s) of practice
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) required
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- One other proof of ID (i.e. Social Security Card or passport)
- Physical exam, completed within the last 24 months
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience preferred to include at least one year as a specialized RN in acute or home care/home infusion environment with strong intravenous insertion skills and port access and other central venous access experience in the last 24 months
- Willing and able to work independently in home or alternate-site settings.
- Negative Drug Screen
- Full COVID-19 vaccination preferred, but not required
- Strong IV skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
- Travel up to a 100-mile radius one way from your home.
- Willingness to dedicate at least 16 hours per month in your area, if offered.
