Infinity is seeking an
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator
to support the newly awarded NISSC II contract. Your career at Infinity enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer mission to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.
Primary Responsibilities
The IAM Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and integrating Identity and Access Management systems and solutions. Responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving systems design weaknesses, prioritizing troubleshooting efforts, and pinpointing resolutions to complex issues surrounding access to systems. This position works with IT internal support teams as well as external clients within the DoD to provide the highest standards of support relative to identity access management practices. Other responsibilities include monitoring and maintenance of IM systems, training, and communication of (IAM) processes, and advising on IAM solutions and best practices. IAM systems include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Active Directory, Linux, VMware, and various DoD Government off-the-shelf GotS applications.
Typical Duties Include:
- Designs, develops, tests, implements, and integrates Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions. Ensures that solutions protect information resources against unauthorized use, inappropriate degrees of access, disclosure, damage, and/or loss. Leverages problem-solving and data analysis skills to ensure projects deliver on time
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system design weaknesses. Troubleshoots and manages the resolution of issues related to identities, systems, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions. Determines and recommends the most appropriate response to identified more complex problems, issues, and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization
- Ensures the maintenance, patching, operating, and monitoring of IAM systems. Troubleshoots, supports, and resolves system incidents, problems, and changes, as required
- Facilitate the continuous adoption, training, communication, and education of IAM capabilities, functions, and standards
- Defines, promotes, and advises on solutions and best practices by using all applicable DoD standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle
- Designs reusable strategies, decisions, service components, libraries, and frameworks to support enterprise-level IAM services
- Maintains awareness and knowledge of current changes within DoD, legal, regulatory, and technology environments which may affect operations. Ensures senior management and staff are informed of any changes and updates in a timely manner. Maintains continuity of any required or desirable certifications, as outlined in 85-70 and all applicable DoD regulatory guidelines
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Jacobs reserves the right to add or change duties at any time
- Update operations and maintenance documentation for 24/7/365 enterprise watch personnel
As an Identity and Access Management Administrator your minimum responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Expert knowledge in information technology systems security software, hardware, cloud, and server-client suites
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial so as to conduct continuous assessments of network security measures and identify possible risks and provide risk prevention and mitigation
Preferably, this Identity and Access Management Administrator should have the following:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in scaled Agile environment frameworks such as SAFe
- Significant relevant experience in supporting sustainment of NISSC missions
BS degree in a related discipline and/or 1 to 2 years of progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certifications.
