Infintium is a small team of engineers developing next generation small and medium fuel cell systems. We are looking for active, driven and self-motivated individuals to develop and support the systems, application control needs, and manufacturing and corporate operations for our growing list of fuel cell products in an aggressively expanding market.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help us with new product development, build and validate prototypes, and provide great quality to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Description:
- New Product Development
- Design / Develop New Mechanical and Electromechanical systems for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Units
- Use CAD (SolidWorks) to design component and system assemblies
- Work in PDM to manage files and revision levels
- Create and Manage Bill Of Materials (Excel)
- Build, test and validate prototype units
- Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Purchasing to release the system design
- Create / update documentation related to new products
- Participate in DFMEA meetings
- Participate in Prelim / Critical design reviews as necessary
- Create testing and validation plans as necessary to support product release
- Design / Develop New Mechanical and Electromechanical systems for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Units
- Life Cycle Management
- Support customer service / quality for field issues as necessary
- Support and drive yearly cost reduction projects
- Update Bill of materials as necessary / support with Engineering change notices
- Create and propose for ideas pertaining to product improvements and cost reduction ideas
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment and flexibility
- Ability to critically analyze data, new processes, and technical documents
- Passion for learning and growing one’s engineering skillset and product knowledge
- Innovation and growth mindset
- Desire to work in a hands-on environment
Knowledge/ Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing environments particularly assembly operations
- Working Experience with SolidWorks 2018 in (CSWA a plus)
- A self-starter with ability to lead and drive engineering systems projects with little oversight
- Knowledge of:
- Thermal systems (coolant)
- Low voltage electrical systems
- Common manufacturing materials (plastics, metals, etc.)
- Design for manufacturability at different volumes for the following processes:
- Sheet Metal
- Injection Molding
- Metal Castings
- Billet Machining
- Rapid prototyping / 3D printing
- Experience using FEA, CFD programs
- Experience with PEM stack hydrogen fuel cells
