Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in classroom, in absence of teacher
- Responsibilities include Attendance Taking, Behavior Monitoring, Assignment Monitoring, and Daily Record Monitoring
- Provide guidance to students in completing assignments and support classroom instruction
- Manage classroom effectively with minimal supervision
- Participate in faculty and professional meetings
- Report directly to School Principal
- Follow policy in critical incidents to prevent injury, escape, or property damage
- Supervise daily work of students and evaluate individual student knowledge
- Operate all job-related equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance learning environment
- Provide written reports and participate in multidisciplinary treatment team
- Attend and complete all required training and certifications
- Develop and review clear, accurate, and concise reports in compliance with policies and procedures
- Promote good working relationships with students, staff, contractual personnel, interns, volunteers, and community agencies
- Implement daily and weekly teacher lesson plans in absence of educator
- Create positive learning environment conducive to student growth and development
- Maintain and control educational department supplies, equipment, and tools
- Accept supervision and constructive feedback
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
