Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring and interpreting vital signs and telemetry data
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform and document comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy of medical documentation, including electronic health records (EHR)
- Insert intravenous (IV) lines and administer fluids and medications via IV
- Perform venipuncture for blood sampling and lab tests
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon
- Minimum [1] years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a telemetry or critical care setting
- Proficient in medical documentation systems, such as Cerner or similar EHR platforms
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices
- Experience with IV insertion and venipuncture techniques
- Ability to provide primary care to patients of all ages, including children and seniors
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
