Below is the job description for the position.

Job Title: IT Technician

Location: Wolf Law Building, 2450 Kittredge Loop Road, Boulder, Colorado 80309

Duration: 4 Months (Temp to Hire)

Onsite!

Duties:

· Provide hardware & software support to end users - Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computer equipment, mobile devices, and peripherals for Law School faculty, staff, and students.

· Provide classroom AV system support to classes and events - Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 proactive and reactive support for classroom technology including AV control systems, projectors, audio, and voice reinforcement to support Law School classes and events.

· Replace computers, smartphones, and tablets with new or down streamed hardware as needed.

KSAs/competencies:

· Provide a high level of customer service while primarily interacting with faculty, staff, (and at times students) on a regular basis.

· Explain complex computer problems and resolutions in clear non-technical terms, provide a limited degree of customer computer training, and recommend best practices for computer use.

· Communicate with end-users the status of their issue and resolution by managing customer relationships and expectations appropriately, adapting to the clientele they support.

Exercise independent judgment to determine best methods to resolve a given computer problem, and determine whether the problem can be resolved to the customer’s satisfaction within the confines of computing policies and standards of the Law School.

· Ability to think creatively and proactively when encountering new computer problems without a prescribed solution; often conducting research and trial experiments to determine appropriate technical solutions, without compromising the integrity of the equipment.

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve errors and identify opportunities to improve systems for usability and reliability.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
