Job Position : IA-DHS-AA2-Lead Developer–Azure Specialist

Job Description :

• This position is for a full stack Lead Developer who is familiar with Microsoft C# .NET and Azure Services.
• The successful candidate will be working on our CCWIS (FACS Replacement) project. This project is rebuilding our Child Welfare Case Management system into a more modern Microsoft PowerApps/Dynamics application within Azure. We desire this candidate to have certificate as an Azure Solution Architect Expert and some experience in integrating development software within the Azure cloud using Azure Integration Services.
• The life cycle methodology will be SAFe agile. The individual selected will be supporting other developers by working ahead of the sprint team’s current sprint goals by prototyping and enabling capabilities around development and infrastructure. In addition, when barriers are encountered within sprint development, the individual will work to remove barriers to development to meet the stated user stories.
• Specifically this individual will be prototyping Azure integrations services enabling development in the Azure cloud environment. This person will be working with our Power/Apps developers

Required Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience
• Experience in creating database migration scripts by using schema and data compare tools
• Experience in creating batch packages using SSIS
• Experience in creating reports using SSRS
• Write efficient, consistent and testable code
• Proficiency with using Visual Studio 2017 and higher
• Ability to understand and analyze the business requirements and come up with efficient technical solution
• Being able work with minimal requirements and improve the functionality as requirements are refined
• Technical understanding of infrastructure components, their dependencies, and interactions between servers, virtual systems, networks, databases, web applications, Azure, etc.

Skill

• Proficiency with different versions of Visual Studio (2015 & higher) Required 5 Years
• Experience with C#, .NET framework, JavaScript, and object oriented design/development. Required 5 Years
• Experience in architecting, writing and maintaining APIs/Services Required 5 Years
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery,data management, budgeting and governance Required 2 Years
• Experience working in an agile environment Required 3 Years
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops and Source Control Merge Management for Dynamics Desired 3 Years
• Experience in working with different versions of SQL server(2016, and 2019) Desired 5 Years
• Expert knowledge of TSQL Desired 5 Years
• Experience in using LINQ Desired 5 Years
• Experience in using Power BI Desired 1 Years
• Experience in creating batch packages using SSIS Desired 3 Years
• Experience in creating reports using SSRS - Desired 3 Years
• Experience optimizing SQL queries for improving performance and maintaining data integrity Desired 5 Years
• Experience designing monitoring strategies for infrastructure including designing for alert notifications and designing alerts and metrics strategy. Desired 2 Years
• Experience designing a Compute Strategy that includes designing compute provisioning and secure compute strategies, determine appropriate compute provisioning and secure compute strategies, determine appropriate compute technologies (.e.g., virtual machines, functions, service fabric, container instances, etc.), and identifying compute requirements. Desired 2 years
• Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker Desired 2 Years
