Job Description

Web Site Specialist. Produces and edits web site content. Creates and designs graphics, animation, and other multimedia objects for the County web site. Develops and implements information architecture. Edits pictures for distribution through various media. Maintains website content, including webpages, documents, and graphic elements. Evaluates online content for general usability, along with compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Must be familiar with the Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and SEO.

Environment: MS Office Suite, HTML5 , XML, RSS, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) , Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional), Usability Design, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pontiac, MI 48340: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Web design: 1 year (Preferred)
  • CSS: 1 year (Preferred)
  • HTML5: 1 year (Preferred)
