Job Notes:  (Must have experience with all of the following)

1. Candidatesmust have more than just exposure to, but solid experience with Windows server and IIS administration, along with strong troubleshooting skills around those technologies, including connectivity over IP networks.
2. They musthave experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting .NET applications and their dependencies (like database servers, other applications, etc.).
3. Attention to I cannot stress this enough. Misspellings on resumes are killers in my view. All it takes is one typo tobreak a program. Candidates must demonstrate that they pay attention to details.
4. Scripting experienceis a must, and candidates must be able to create scripts from scratch. If they don’t already have PowerShell experience, they must demonstrate their ability to figure it out quickly.
5. Candidatesmust understand N-tier application design, how to recognize it when they see it, and how to use it to aid their overall understanding of application deployment and
6. Critical thinking and Developing solutions toproblems is important, but not everyone can first identify the problem. Candidates must have experience enough to ask the right questions when problems solving so that the correct problem can be identified.
7. Server/service/application monitoring experienceis a must. We leverage systems that allow us to configure automated monitoring and response, but candidates must be aware of how these systems can be configured, and how to determine the best ways to monitor applications to determine if there are problems.
8. Experienceadministering SharePoint 365 or Dynamics CRM 365, including defining new sites, proactively monitoring resource consumption, backups/restores, permissions, etc.
9. Experiencewith Azure components. This must be more than a textbook understanding of what’s available and how to use it. Though other cloud experience is nice, nothing will substitute for having hands-on exposure working within Azure, especially experience in the last 3-5 years.
10. Candidatesshould be experienced with writing various kinds of documentation (knowledge base articles, how-tos, deployment plans, etc.)
11. Experiencein identifying and applying the correct levels of security in application setup. Candidates must be able to determine how to apply the principle of least privilege across any system that requires granting permissions.
12. Experiencedirectly designing and/or configuring enterprise-class network infrastructure: routers, switches, etc.
