New Hope Network is seeking a Conference Coordinator to support educational programming for the natural and organic products industry. Through event coordination and administration, this role will be integral to the New Hope network conference, content and show teams in helping build mission-driven and impactful community programming and events.
Working across multiple New Hope brands and their associated virtual/in-person event series, the conference coordinator will support conference programming for Nutrition Capital Network, NBJ Summit and Natural Products Expo.
The Conference Coordinator:
- Reports to the Sr. Community and Conference Content Director
- Provides administrative and event support to the New Hope Network conference team
- Attends regular meetings with conference, content and event teams
- Supports event execution and speaker management throughout the year
Conference Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Contracts speakers
- Coordinates speaker proposal process, presenter applications, and review processes
- Schedules pre-event calls with speakers & moderators
- Fulfills speaker registration, housing and travel requests
- Submits check requests and updates budgets
- Collects, reviews, and distributes speaker presentations and PPTs
- Organizes product sampling and tabling programs with emerging brands and presenters
- Uploads conference details to websites, databases and event software
- Assists with proofing and writing event copy
- Develops improvements to conference and project management processes
- Supports conference team with virtual and on-site speaker and customer service, A/V and PPT operations, and speaker registration and housing logistics
We’re looking for candidates that:
- Have a passion for the natural products industry and mission-driven business. This role will join the New Hope Network team in cultivating a prosperous high-integrity CPG and retail ecosystem that creates health, joy and justice for all people while regenerating the planet
- Are comfortable learning new software systems and/or are experienced working with Microsoft and Adobe suites, and other event software systems
- Possess project management skills and an ability to coordinate schedules, deadlines and tasks across multiple events and teams
- Are comfortable working and problem-solving in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Are available to travel to in-person events
- Have an education degree or experience with exhibitions, event operations, customer service, and/or the natural and organic products industry.
