We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to oncology patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care.
Duties:
AUTO OFFER
The Inpatient Oncology unit located on 3 South, is a 28 bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit as well as a 15-bed intermediate care (IMU) Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU). Joining the Inpatient Oncology team gives new nurses the opportunity to train in both levels of care and gain deep knowledge of the care for the oncology patient. The nurse to patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4, while in SCTU it is 1:3 due to the higher level of care for both day shift and night shift.

8/5 or 8/19 start
36 or 48 hours
13 weeks
Every other weekend, every other holiday
Can have 40 hours max for time off
ONS cert required, please attach cert with submission, can submit with second part of cert pending provided clinician has completed the first part
BLS, ACLS preferred not required
Must adhere to UVAs float policy
Must have Epic experience
