Account Manager
Your role
An Account Manager's responsibilities include maintaining business at current accounts and driving new business development for current and target accounts as well as developing long-term relationships and connecting with key business stakeholders. Successful Account Managers will continuously work to identify opportunities for moving the client and company business forward with an emphasis on long-term growth and customer satisfaction. They will work hand in hand with our customer success team to ensure happy customers.
Your responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for key decision-makers at assigned accounts and build long-term, cross-functional relationships within all levels of the organization
- Develop account plans defining the current situation analysis, unique value offering, challenges/pain points, and determine effective penetration and sales growth strategies
- Understand the competitive landscape, market insights, and effectively communicate across key internal and external stakeholders
- Negotiate prices and agreements with customers that provide mutual value and protections
- Work with the Customer Success team & lead strategic business reviews with customers to review service, develop consensus on short- & long-term initiatives, and create new growth opportunities
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Your qualifications
- 5 years of sales experience (cybersecurity industry background preferred)
- Consultative selling with a hunter mentality, negotiation, and presentation skills are critical
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and prioritization.
- Excellent listening and negotiation skills; Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Confident self-starter, highly motivated, and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
