Job Title: Chemistry Lab Technician
Pay Rate: $21.25 to 25/Hr
Duration: 7 Months
Location: Stamford - (Mon-Wed) &* Trumbull - (Thu - Fri)*
Shift Timings: 1st Shift -(8:30 AM-5 PM)

We are looking for a Lab Technician. Candidates need to be comfortable and capable of traveling between the two sites Stamford/CT (Mon, Tue, Wed) and Trumbull/CT (Thu and Fri).

• Testing of cleansing formulations. - Evaluate, collect, and record data.
• Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
• Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
• Involved in making liquid cleansing products.
• Tests characteristics of formulas using established procedures.
• Maintain and file FDA paper files, and lab data, & maintain files by year & the unique FDA documentation
• Unpack & lift new products for testing, move & set up product bins in the appropriate heated temperature-controlled chambers
• Label each FDA product, check batch & UPC codes
• The file returned FDA products from the labs back in the appropriate bins in heated chambers
• Detail-orientated, create Excel & word documents for projects using the appropriate Clients forms

Qualifications:

• The candidate must demonstrate some lab experience
• computer literate in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for the preservation of data
• Comfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols
• The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
