Pay Rate: $75 to $100/HR
Duration: 24 Months
Location: Albany, NY

Shift - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern time

This position is for the Building Automation division.

We are looking for a Site Project Manager

Description:

• The qualified candidate shall supervise site supervision and plan and schedule activities for large performance contracting guaranteed energy savings projects.
• Project experience between 2 to 5 years of experience managing projects.
• Knowledge of utility rebates and performance contracting legislation is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical and HVAC systems knowledge and experience are preferred.
• Responsibilities include estimating, design verification, knowledge of building codes, project scheduling, equipment start-up, commissioning, and project close-out.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
• Responsible for coordinating customer project meetings and accurately providing and documenting meeting minutes.
• Responsibilities include defining schedules in the project acquisition phase.
• Qualified candidates shall be proficient in Excel, Word, MS Project, Primavera, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Basic Function

• On-site Management under the direct supervision of a Project Manager for large, more complex jobs or multiple projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance.
• Supervises directs, and supervises the installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty of assigned projects.
• Ensures customer satisfaction during and at final project completion.

Essential Duties

• Participates in pre-bid reviews and sales-to-operations turnover meetings to evaluate the accuracy of the sales estimate and job layout.
• Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements.
• Plans and coordinates subcontractors and puts together and maintains a 3-week look-ahead for upcoming project schedules.
• Participates in job site final walk-thru and completes all close-out documentation such as As-Built drawings and system operating instructions; transfers or excess materials; billings, collections, and payments; and all project records.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Associate's degree or equivalent with an emphasis in a technical field, mechanical and HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• An understanding of job financial reports and the ability to apply these in managing assigned projects; Strong leadership, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
