Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Long Beach, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
- At least 4 years of experience in MS SQL server administration and maintenance
- Should have worked in SQL Server Advanced Features like Replication and Always on
- Perform backups and restores
- Setup High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
- Implement operational automation using scripts.
- Work on indexes, index management, and statistics.
- Work on SQL Server tools
- Work on issues related to performance tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment
- Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.

- Experience with project management
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
