What are the responsibilities and job description for the .NET Architect position at Infosys?
Infosys is seeking a .Net Technology Architect. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day to day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.
The candidate may be either located within commuting distance of Raleigh NC or work remotely from any locations within the US initially and be willing to relocate to the area within 3 months. This position will require travel to project location.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in .NET technologies.
- Experience in Cloud and Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in .NET & SQL capabilities in Architect capacity.
- At least 6 years of experience in software development life cycle
- At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- At least 2 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
- Strong on C#.Net and OOPS, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, JavaScript, JQuery
- Strong on Technical Skills SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
- Strong on .NET and Web and Windows Technologies.
- Ability to work in Agile environment, complex solutions environment & DevOps methodology
- Experience on working in TFS
- Working experience in API Integration
- Designing, Developing and Deploying application in ASP.NET and C#.NET
- In depth knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks, ability to identify key problem areas and find an optimal solution in complex scenarios.
- Advanced solution design & configuration methods so that system specifications are defined for end-to-end solution in complex scenarios.
- Strong with Design Patterns and ASP.NET technology and worked with agile and scrum methodology.
- Worked with TFS source control and also to automate the release process using TFS and Nant scripts
- Must have knowledge on release process.
