Job Posting for Technical Architect - .Net - Q2 at Infosys

Infosys is seeking a Senior .Net Architect. This role will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects. You will develop and design applications, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, and attend to issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions. You will also participate in sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford CT or Stamford CT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to the project location.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology.
  • At least 7 years of experience in .Net development and .Net Architecture.
  • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time. This position may require travel and / or relocation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience including solution architecture, design of enterprise applications on various cloud native .Net.
  • Experience with Cloud ( AWS, Azure) application.
  • Proficiency and knowledge of the following: Angular or React.
  • Experience with medium to large size custom application development projects with exposure to all phases of the SDLC.
  • Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns & principles.
  • Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole.
  • Knowledge of the business for which the enterprise architecture is being developed.
  • Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Docker etc.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
