Responsibilities:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
- 12 years of experience with the following
- Experience working in a Datacenter and Corporate environment.
- Experience in deploying Cisco 8500 Catalyst switches, Cisco 9300 Access Switches, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper SRX/EX and Cisco Nexus(9K) switches in a datacenter environment.
- Experience implementing cloud connectivity solutions using AWS Direct Connect, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Interconnect, and OCI Fast Connect.
- Experience with deploying, managing and supporting enterprise Infoblox DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) solutions and AWS Route 53.
- Experience with hosted environments such as AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Google Compute Engine, or Azure.
- Understanding data center architecture including familiarity with network, server, storage virtualization, i.e. Cisco Nexus switching, VRF, VPN, and VMWare vSphere.
- Deep understanding and experience with routing protocols (such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and network protocols (such as IPv4, IPv6, NAT, Multicast, Spanning Tree, flow export applications),NAT, DNS, geo-load balancing, VPN technologies [Anyconnect, IPSEC VPN], switching, Security, QoS, Wi-Fi, Network Management and Monitoring Software
- Experience working with ISP s to resolve network latency and bandwidth issues.
- Wireless network design, tuning and troubleshooting,
- Experience with Aruba wireless, NAC[Clearpass].
- Prepare detailed network documentation including logical network diagrams, test plans, configurations, and security standards in Visio.
- Monitor and analyze network performance and offer support to troubleshoot issues related to a breadth of networking technologies including Cisco routers, switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and wireless solutions within the network infrastructure scope.
- Experience with network monitoring tools, such as Logic Monitor or Nagios
- Perform assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps
- Design and document network architecture, Perform assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Some travel required.
- CCNP required (CCIE preferred or equivalent Certificate and/or Experience)
- The flexibility to travel to site as required in order to carry out Data Center Build related activities as well as decommission and migration of legacy services.
