Ultrasound Sonographer

Description:

• Is a registered ultrasound sonographer.
• Will contribute to the system-level test activities of Philips’ ultrasound platforms and products.
• Will be expected to perform structured testing, generate defect findings, and participate in clinical product validation assessments.
• Must be an eager and fast learner that is capable of accepting and dealing with dynamic program changes, including schedule changes.
• Must be flexible and adaptable in satisfying the needs of assigned programs.
• Must be able to read and follow test instructions, and have some degree of technical comprehension.
• Must be able to analyze test results and make subsequent recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferred.
• ARDMS credentialed.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Must be goal-oriented and proactive in problem solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.
• At least three (3) years’ of clinical ultrasound sonography experience, including in advanced clinical areas such as CV, GI, WHC, VASC, or POC.
• Prefer candidate to be registered and in good standing with respective credentialing body/bodies for candidate’s modality/modalities of expertise.
• Strong technical understanding of modality technologies, clinical applications, and workflows.
• Philips product experience preferred.
• Related experience in the medical device industry is desirable.
• Knowledge of an FDA-regulated development environment is highly desirable.
