The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of the state agencies through a variety of services including Information Technology project delivery, maintenance and support. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB servicing the agencies of LEO, AG, GOV, UIA and MDOT.

About The Position
As a Senior Application Developer, this position performs a complete range of information system analyst assignments including, but not limited to, designing, developing, testing, and implementing computer systems and applications for Agency Services supporting LEO, AG, GOV, UIA and MDOT/Agency Application Services. This individual will be looked upon to provide technical support to other team members and evaluate new development tools and agency systems.
This position functions as a Senior level information technology programmer/analyst performing a full range of assignments in a full functioning capacity for the Unemployment Insurance Agency (UIA) Michigan Integrated Data Automated System (MiDAS). This position also serves as a liaison between DTMB and UIA plus any contractual staff that may be assigned. Primary area of focus of the MiDAS system is the applications/processes that fall within UIA's Non-Monetary (Adjudication) area. The secondary area of focus for this position is the USDOL Federal processes which includes the Employment Training Administration reports and data validation.
