POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Sign Shop Worker will be responsible for all aspects of the physical construction and assembling of signs from computer cut vinyl and wide format full color printouts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sign assembly including preparing substrates and applying vinyl or other media according to written instructions.
- Mounting and/or laminating prints and operating and setting up the laminator for over-laminating.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; fabricating and preparing orders for delivery to customer or for customer pick up.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards. Supports inventory controls by collecting stock location orders. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Report any problems found on equipment throughout the day to Supervisor.
- Works to keep all inventory and equipment clean and organized to provide our customers reliability, consistency and the highest standards possible.
- Maintain work area and in an organized manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of sign fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to perform day-to-day physical activities to move traffic sign supplies.
- Demonstrates competency with handling and inspecting mechanical equipment.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with co-workers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to work independently to solve basic problems, elevating any somewhat complicated situations to the supervisor for guidance.
- Ability to manage basic multiple tasks and prioritize basic and repetitive workload based on company operating practices.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing all tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
- Knowledge of vehicle lettering and embroidery is a plus.
- Knowledge of Adobe Software Suite, G-Suite, MS Office is a plus but not required.
