What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Marketing Manager position at INFUSEmedia?
Content is the cornerstone of our strategy to build brand awareness and continue on our trajectory for explosive growth. We are looking for a stellar content marketer and managing editor who can craft our story, oversee our editorial, and partner with the marketing team to drive growth.
The successful candidate is first and foremost a growth marketer and an exceptional storyteller. (S)he is someone with a strong understanding of the B2B marketing landscape, one who distills complex ideas into easily understandable concepts, identifies great content, and ultimately develops consistent audience-appropriate communication strategies.
Ultimately, you are an air traffic controller, coordinating the production of high quality thought leadership materials for B2B audiences.
How you will make a difference:
- Manage a full editorial calendar and lifecycle. You will engage with stakeholders across the organization to build winning content strategies for the right audiences. You will then identify what content needs exist and where in the sales funnel, and you will secure and manage resources to deliver on those needs from ideation to distribution.
- Pitch ideas and create engaging content. You will understand our prospective clients, their challenges and opportunities, and you will regularly contribute ideas for highly engaging, thumb-stopping content across all formats and channels -- print, web, social, short and long form papers, blogs, speaking proposals, and anything in between.
- Maintain the tone and quality of content. You will help us cement our brand voice and editorial style guide. Plus, you will ensure relevance and consistency across all the content we produce.
- Monitor performance. You will ensure new communication campaigns and programs are aimed at reaching and exceeding sales targets. You will collaborate with the team to keep an eye on and share the performance of our content -- how it’s being consumed, what’s resonating, what’s driving results -- and you’ll use data to optimize our content efforts fast.

To be successful, you need to have:
- Agency or publishing experience a plus;
- Excellent organizational and planning skills;
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, and a portfolio to match;
- Uncompromising attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, many under tight deadlines;
