InfuSystem is a growing healthcare service provider, specializing in infusion pumps and related products and services for patients in hospitals, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and other major service centers. We provide direct payer rentals, pump and consumable sales, and biomedical services and repair, serving all 50 states and Canada. Headquartered in Rochester Hills, Michigan, we have Centers of Excellence in Kansas, California, Massachusetts, and Ontario, Canada.

*** This position will be located in Kansas City, and will require local travel within the Midwest***


SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Regional VP of Oncology Sales, the Account Manager is responsible for servicing assigned customer accounts and working with the Territory Manger to grow and maintain territories across the Midwest. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing all paperwork, pumps, and supplies, while increasing utilization, reducing pending tickets, and providing superior levels of customer service.

Certain hospitals, clinics and other medical centers now require InfuSystem to provide proof of vaccinations prior to entering their facilities. Your role may require proof of vaccination in order for us to receive the accreditation credentials needed to effectively service our customers.


IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Work with Territory Manager to grow and maintain territories across the Pacific Northwest
  • Provide front-line service to customers by picking up paperwork and pumps
  • Identify and rectify pending paperwork issues with customers
  • Increase pump utilization and maintain appropriate inventory of pumps at facilities
  • Monitor usage of supplies and other consumables (e.g. IV sets) at appropriate accounts; ensure customers are meeting applicable contractual volume commitments
  • Communicate with Territory Manager(s) and assigned CSR daily
  • Develop leads for new products in assigned facilities – asks the right questions
  • Receive, research and answer customers’ inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, rates, and services offered by the Company
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Produce and submit reports as requested by Management
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum completion of High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 1 - 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience within customer service and account management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Access, and Excel
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience preferred
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Professional, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Current valid driver’s license required

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time with overnights
