The Industrial Technologies and Services, Americas (ITSA) segment offers a broad range of reciprocating, rotary screw, and centrifugal compressor, vacuum, and blower solutions with sites in North and South America. Key brands include Ingersoll Rand, Gardner Denver, CompAir, NASH, Garo, EMCO Wheaton, and Elmo Rietschle. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group leads the development and execution of the manufacturing strategy across all ITSA factories including the technical development, integration and execution of i2v, NPD, and Footprint projects into the manufacturing locations. This onsite position will report to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader and work closely with project teams to leverage existing capacity and capability where possible and implement new technology where needed.

Responsibilities:
- Develop technology road map for manufacturing location to maximize machine utilization and productivity while minimizing cost.
- Assist in Make vs Buy decision on product introduction, i2v, and footprint plans with the goal of fixed overhead rationalization and leverage of core competencies.
- Provide technical input on capital expense needs tied to manufacturing startup of project future state and processes.
- Lead manufacturing project development and implementation activities through IRPX program gates.
- Procure tooling, machines, and equipment necessary to support approved site capacity and capability roadmap and deliver capable and well documented manufacturing processes.
- Ensure operator and maintenance training for new production equipment meets standards and final sign-off requirements.
- Serve in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, and suppliers to optimize cost competitiveness and manufacturability.
- Serve as a critical stakeholder of large, complex programs with significant impact to the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering required.
- 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a similar capital intensive, highly engineered product business.
- Self-starter capabilities with strong technical and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills with the ability to develop and deliver technical information to team members, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- This position is based at a manufacturing plant that will be their primary focus and will also support specific projects at other plants that may not have a full time AME.
- May require travel 10-25%.

Salary : $107,000 - $135,000
