Position Description:
The Compression Technologies & Services division is hiring a Service Coordinator – Oil Free for the Mid-Atlantic Area. This position can be located at any of the customer center locations in the Mid-Atlantic. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer communication, coordination of service technician resources for our Oil Free Rotary & Centrifugal compressor customers; as well as coordinating the administration of billing, loading information in systems and purchase order generation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming service calls and schedule technicians across all customer centers in the Mid-Atlantic Area supporting oil free rotary & centrifugal customers. Create and process service requests including, repair, preventative maintenance and warranty work. Generate and follow-up on service quotes and seek new business whenever possible.
- Answering technical questions and problem resolution.
- Champion process for accruing new customer Purchase Orders for Service Agreements with expired Purchase Orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Managing local service inventory such as ordering necessary service parts, reconciliation of Technician Truck and Tote stock, and In-transit receiving. Additional shipping and receiving requirements as needed.
- Ensure environmental, health and safety; and Operational Excellence adherence in the Customer Center.
- Earn Customer Loyalty by effectively and efficiently managing customer interactions, ensuring positive and proactive communication to both internal and external customers.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 plus years of experience in industrial service environment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications required.
- Customer Service experience with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
