POSITION SUMMARY:
TheWelderwill work under limited supervision and will perform a variety of welding duties efficiently with high quality result.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Welding nickel 55/45 wire to cast-iron as a filler or to build back up or to fill in part erosion/cavitation
* We are a hands on shop we cross train assist and help others
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Required:
- 2-4 years of welding experience
- The ability to weld stainless 316L or 304 stainless
- The ability to weld stainless plate to cast iron
- The ability to weld mild steel
- The ability to use a plate roller
- The ability to use an air arch gouger
- The ability to use a plasma cutter
- The ability to use a Mig welder
- The ability to use a Stick welder
- The ability to use a Tig welder
- The ability to pass a weld certification/plate test
- The ability to run an overhead crane and forklifts
- The ability to lay out bolt circles radiuses degrees and angles by reading blue prints
- The ability to read a tape measure
- The ability to use a CNC plasma table
- The ability to maintain a safe and clean work area
- The ability to work well with others
Education/Training Required:
* High School Diploma or Trade School Graduate
