The Company
Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant.
The Position
Our team members work diligently to ensure that every fresh-baked loaf of bread and dessert brings a smile at the dinner table. When you first start, you'll spend time training alongside your most skilled teammates. Duties will vary per position. Our department prepares a wide assortment of quality baked goods and desserts including bread, pies, and cakes for all events! All team members will assist with preparing, packaging, stocking, and merchandising products, as well as helping to maintain our strict sanitization standards.
The Candidate
Ideal candidates will possess interpersonal and communication skills which will allow them to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of productivity, and complying with all safety and sanitation procedures; related experience is a plus
