Qualifications:

· Strong desire to be helpful and take ownership to resolve customer situations

· Driven by delivering results

· Dependable and consistent, history of good attendance

· Ability to multitask by reading, typing, and navigating through applications while communicating with teammates and drivers

· Prior scheduling experience preferably in a transit, paratransit, transportation, trucking, or messenger environment, OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities REQUIRED!!

Responsibilities:

· Construct daily vehicle routes for safe productive passenger pick-ups and drop-off’s in a transit/paratransit environment.

· Schedule pick-ups and drop-off’s for several passengers travelling together in one van/bus to different destinations as efficiently as possible for the Broward County Transit TOPS program.

· Analyze historical route information, reviews travel patterns, scheduling efficiencies, improved timelines, and overall performance to ensure quality service.

· Communicate effectively with management as it pertains to strategic objectives.

· Organize and conduct activities to assure safe, cost-effective, on-time operating performance.

· Tracks and reports adherence to run cut structure and communicates issue to management.

DETAILS:

• Training: Training begins Monday 10/10/22 Onsite at our Miramar office for the first 6 weeks, then FULLY remote. Training schedule is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
• Permanent Schedule after Training: Sunday - Thursday 3:30pm to 12:30am remotely (working from home). Fridays & Saturdays OFF.

Salary & Benefits:
The compensation package for this position starts at $14.02/hr plus performance based bonus of additional $1/hr as well as a comprehensive benefits package of medical, dental, short/long term disability, life insurance, personal time off, educational assistance, and a 401K plan.
