Let’s Talk About the Job:
The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for working with internal managers and the IT Development team to create, test, and maintain new and existing web, internal applications, and reports. Utilizing a variety of programming languages and tools, this position will interact with end users to develop solutions and/or programs to address internal roadblocks. The Business Systems Analyst II will maintain and optimize databases, test and deploy software and bug-fixes using established procedures and will participate in software design and planning sessions.

- Develops and modifies full stack web and computer applications using ASP.NET (.NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 5.0 ) and Microsoft SQL Server to meet business needs.
- Assists in the design and performs development and support of critical business reports.
- Interacts with end users (individuals and groups) to understand their processes and requirements.
- Develops functional and non-functional specifications including the standard BSA artifacts like uses-cases, scenarios, screen specifications, screen mockups, and interface/reports that address end user specifications/demands.
- Documents systems and applications according to common business standards.
- Performs troubleshooting (identifying, researching and resolving) application problems as well as answering application questions and assisting users.
- Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.
- Assists in the establishment and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assists in department problem solving.
- Assists in establishing project tasks, schedules, and budgets.
- Assists in the facilitation of project meetings.
- Stays current within the technology, printing and distribution industries.

Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar study with 3 or more years work experience with relational databases and 2 or more years work experience in a manufacturing industry required.
- Experience in ASP.NET frameworks, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 5.0
- Experience using Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.”
- Current language requirements include C#, SQL, JavaScript, VB.NET, HTML, and CSS.
- Current experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including experience creating tables, queries, views, functions, stored procedures, DTS packages, and jobs is required.
- Experience or knowledge of content management systems and data warehouse/business intelligence software preferred.
