Job Description

The ideal Account Executive for GeoLink sales has a solid understanding of digital media and ad tech. This ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and outgoing self-starter who is a key player in driving revenue and building a growing client base. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ideal candidate collaborates with team members and possesses the passion to drive change in digital media. The Account Executive should be ready to hit the ground running to close new business, and thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Generate demand to drive growth via new logos, requiring a strong focus on prospecting and leading the development of proposals in response to RFP/RFI’s
  • Generate a high volume of sales related activities including cold calling, meetings, presentations, proposals and more. 
  • Develop Manage, and grow revenue pipeline providing accurate weekly forecasting. 
  • Cultivate relationships with client, gain deep insight into their business, and ultimately provide solutions to their marketing and advertising goals.
  • Be the voice of the customer. Articulate business needs and capabilities requirements internal and become a champion of client feedback and key initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of programmatic, ad tech and/or SaaS sales experience
  • Experience at a DSP, exchange, ad server, online publisher, ad network, agency trading desk, or other online advertising roles preferred
  • History of exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to negotiate
  • Self-starter / Hunter mentality – able to tackle new clients or territories
  • Agile learner – able to rapidly grasp new technology and implication on market trends
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles with multiple partners
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, while being able to quickly gain product efficiency across our broad set of offerings
  • Smart, articulate, polished, self-driven, highly motivated team player with excellent problem solving skills, as well as superb organizational, written and verbal communications skills. 
  • A Consultative, strategy, and empathetic thinker with great energy and enthusiasm for prospecting for new business and excellent closing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
