BACKGROUND
INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines (Waukesha), a business unit of the INNIO Group, produces large, stationary reciprocating engines that drive gas compressors for all stages of natural gas production. Waukesha has over 50,000 units installed worldwide. Our engines are designed to run under high-stress conditions in isolated, mission-critical and demanding environments.
INNIO was created in 2018 when Advent International acquired GE’s Distributed Power business. The acquisition included two businesses, Waukesha and Jenbacher, that operate as separate entities under the INNIO umbrella.
DIGITAL PRODUCT MANAGER - WAUKESHA
As Digital Product Manager – Waukesha, you will provide a visionary strategy enabling an outstanding digital experience with gas compression and power generation equipment. You will develop and manage a multi-generation product plan for myPlant our asset performance management platform for the oil & gas industry and gas compression applications. You will develop and implement ideas supporting digital top and bottom-line growth. The products and services will incorporate the latest technology of the industrial internet of things (IIoT). You will work closely with various internal functions such as our digital development teams, product line, marketing, services & sales and external parties such as channel partners & distributors, large accounts and strategic development partners as well as consultants
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide and communicate a clear product strategy vision aligned with customer requirements and business growth objectives.
- Drive digital product line performance and growth with targets on orders, revenue, cost & margin, allocation of program budget and on time delivery of NPI’s with zero defects.
- Collaborate with the software and data science development team to realize differentiating digital solutions
- Own product lifecycle. Provide an MGPP (multi generation product plan) that prioritizes resources, features and functionality aligned with commercial objectives.
- Maintain understanding of current and emerging trends and opportunities in the digital space & IoT. Understand customer requirements and operating environment, provide feedback on how existing product is being used driving value proposition and identify new value streams.
- Evangelize, commercialize & launch NPI’s ensuring readiness thru training, support readiness, communication, SOA’s, conferences and pilot installations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- University degree in applied science, Business Administration or related discipline
- Strong track record in change management & digital transformation. Can drive decisions.
- Strong team player, inclusive & open-minded approach, high say/do ratio, strong interpersonal skillset, proven change agent
- Promotes an agile model and influences early adoption of beneficial technologies. Leads organizations through transformations by leveraging functional knowledge
- Proven track record of successfully leading remote teams
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in English with proven ability to interact with Executive Management level and C-suite level. Further language preferred
- Strong project management
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and implement cross-functional programs
- Good knowledge of software development & consultancy and commercial business processes
- Ability to travel at least 30%, or as required
- B2B sales experience with demonstrable results.
- Ability to be successful in a matrix organization with proven track record
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial thinking, able to work with minimal supervision
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
