Allergy Technician

We fully staff and manage Allergy Clinics within the Primary Care office setting. We are looking to hire one full time employee in the Huntersville, NC area.

Innova Allergy is seeking a CMA or LPN with Allergy testing experience to serve as an Allergy Technician at a busy Primary Care office in Birkdale Village.

Allergy Technicians perform specialized duties, including documenting allergy symptoms, patient history, insurance verification, patient scheduling, allergy testing, preparation of custom allergy serums, injections, ordering supplies and uploading allergy documents to patient’s EMR.

Ideal candidates must possess:

• Successful interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to determine difference between positive and negative allergy test results (based on wheal size)
• Understanding of Immunotherapy and ability to communicate benefits of Immunotherapy
• Ability to keep accurate records
• Extremely organized
• Able to problem solve
• Professional communication and appearance required

Compensation is an hourly rate, based on education and prior experience. In addition to hourly compensation, our employee will have the ability to earn bonus income (realistic bonuses are $200-300 per month).
