Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an HR SpecialistPosition Type : Fulltime / Contract to Hire Duration : 6 Months(Possibly extension)Location : Chicago, IL - 60601,Hybrid Role 3 days onsite in Chicago and 2 days remoteAs a HR Specialist, you will : Ensure there is a proper tracking mechanism and management of headcount dataTriage intake discussions for all idea cards that have a headcount impact (hiring, reorgs, outsourcing, insourcing, etc) prior to engaging appropriate HRBPs and HR COEsBrings together Finance, Strategy, and HR to front of the processKnowledge of headcount impacts at the beginning of a business case to ensure HR is aware of resource requestsPartner with cross-functional HR teams to develop and implement a new enterprise-wide referral programProvides a project management lens to HRLT and senior leaders that HR is supportingFuture State (Works with HR Tech, Position Management, People Analytics to ensure all data is accurate)Centralized POC to review business cases.
Consume, understand, orchestrate, manage signals to key enablers (TA, HRBP, etc)Key conduit to ensure Finance, WFP, TA, HRBP is engaged for business cases with headcount requests.
Ensures HR COES (HRBP, WFP, TA) has project data.Track in excel document to understand scope (headcount, timing).Ensure project data is captured in Workday.
Ensure Finance is projecting enough ramp up time to fill requisitions with TA input.Partner with SWP to understand market conditions.
Central point of contact to ensure PMCs are engaging the right HRBP to have headcount discussions.Ensure HR is engaged at the forefront.
Signal the appropriate HR COEs.Track headcount and report up.Capture cost savings (how many positions are eliminated by having HR involved in conversations).
Ensure HR is being resourced appropriately to support the project.TA is provided enough time to prepare for resourcing requests.
Support in getting questions answered (E-Learnings needed, timing of headcount, etc).Project manage larger projects.- Provide project information is provided promptly from proper stakeholders to execute.
Requirements : Minimum of 5-7 years of HR / Project management experience.Highly motivated and eager to gain hands on experience within the HR field.
Previous HR work or internship experience preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong orientation to detail.
Strong presentation skills.Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Duration and Opportunities : The position is temporary, lasting up to 6 months, with the potential to become a full-time role.
