The Role

SAP ABAP Technical Lead

How You Will Make an Impact:

What You Bring to The Team:

• Guide the ABAP Developers wherever required in Badi development and other ABAP debugging for the issues. Monitor the team and Train the team
• Guide the team on performance tuning, SQL tracing, runtime analysis and code optimizations.
• Implement BADI for Innovapptive Products and Expertise in Enhancements
• Perform code review for critical functionalities and complex designs.
• Write framework code on ABAP for the team to consume and utilize SAP cloud services to build products and perform POCs.
• Proactively makes progress with project development.
• Troubleshoots the ODATA services to find out the root cause and provides resolutions.
• Interacts with clients, if necessary, by conducting a customer call to discuss the requirements and necessary KT after product deployments.
• Provide estimates for new development and enhancements.
• Provide timely responses to client inquiries or delegate as appropriate.
• Support all change management and communication activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience
• Must have 8 years of strong SAP development and hands-on coding experience in at least 2 full life cycle implementations as an SAP technical developer
• Experience must include managing complex technical development projects with multiple full lifecycle implementations
• Must have strong experience with SAP ABAP skills that include: Enhancement Spots, Implicit Enhancements, Explicit Enhancements, BADI, BAPI, s/4 Hana Objects etc.
• Must have worked on MM and PM (HCM/HR recommended) related ABAP developments and understanding of the functionality
• Must have worked on various data postings using different kind of BAPIs
• Must have hands-on experience and technical proficiency in Object Oriented ABAP (OOPs) with expertise in WRICEF development
• Must have experience with ODATA services and troubleshooting
• Must have strong workflow experience, including ability to handle workflow developments independently
• Must have strong advanced ABAP debugging skills
• Must Have worked on New HANA Syntax, CDS Views and AMDP
• Experience and knowledge with ABAP WebDynpro is a plus.
