Job Summary
The Product Portfolio Manager (PPM) is responsible for a wholistic view of the entire product portfolio. This includes leading the Portfolio Team through project phases and approvals. The PPM has a key role in the strategic alignment and execution of the product teams objectives. Additionally, the PPM will support growth initiatives including new vendor relationships, partnerships, potential M&A activity and the annual 3YP process as needed.
Essential Functions:
Own and manage the iA Portfolio Decision Team, driving alignment across functions on strategy and product initiatives.
Coordinate with Product team members in delivery of NPD artifacts at various stages of development.
Drive strategic alignment across product segments to create a holistic approach to product development roadmap and planning.
Lead monthly strategic review sessions with product leadership teams.
Evaluate the entire product portfolio for gaps and help identify opportunities to build out the offering.
Support leadership in potential 3rd party relationships, partnerships, and M&A activity as needed.
Support the annual 3YP process as needed.
Analyze product performance metrics and drive strategies to maximize resource allocation and benefits.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field; master's degree is advantageous.
5 plus years proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional leadership and management skills.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Strong ability to elevate and align strategic objectives across teams.
Preferred Skills
Master’s degree in Business
Strong business acumen.
Detail-oriented and persuasive.
Must have ability to conduct primary and secondary market research on spaces, targets and conduct landscape mapping of key players in each space.
Must have ability to do financial modeling to assess the business case for targets
Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives
Strong presentation skills and ability to present material and complex matters in a succinct and organized manner
Ability to think critically in tactical and strategic dimensions simultaneously.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with leaders at the most senior levels within the corporation.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels and functions both inside and outside of the organization.
