Colonial Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is now hiring an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to our patients. The Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessing patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of Occupational Therapy Interventions
- Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
- Instructs patient/family/caregivers on patient's total occupational therapy program.
- Other Occupational Therapist (COTA) duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from a school of Occupational Therapy Assistant accredited with the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Maintains certification through the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board preferred.
- Minimum of one-year experience in a SNF/LTC agency in the past two years as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) preferred.
