Job Description
INNOVIM is seeking a qualified Program Manager to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) within Oceanographic and Geophysical Science and Services Division (OGSSD) with administrative, operational support, program management, and non-technical support services.
Specific duties include:
- Assisting OGSSD Leadership with the portfolio management, developing the Division's Annual Operating Plan (AOP), maintaining the Integrated Product List and Product Management Database, as well as contributing to strategic planning and reporting that aligns the divisions activities with NCEI, NESDIS, NOAA, and DOC goals.
Support of the OGSSD including advice, analyses, and assistance for the improvement of internal technical, business, and organizational processes such as for performance metrics, feedback mechanisms, and reporting processes.
- Coordinating with the Product Area Leads and Product Leads throughout the year assisting with developing and revising project plans and in planning and preparing quarterly reporting of AOP milestones.
- Coordinating reporting for the division’s weekly reporting, quarterly and annual status updates, and responding to portfolio- level information requests such as providing division input to NCEI and NESDIS.
- Specific project requirements may also arise where special projects (such as cloud migration activities) or a designated product require the assigned Program Manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience (scientific, technical, or management) of NCEI's products and services.
- Experience with project planning, strategic planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting activities.
- PMP certification required
Experience:
- 10 years experience in scientific, technical, or management background.
