Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of quotation for all quote types for products and services produced by Spartronics. Quotes are received from various departments within the organization (i.e., Program Management, Sales, and/or Business Development) and this role will have the accountability for the intake of quote(s), validate completeness, facilitate a cross functional kick off meeting, perform customer life cycle analysis (as required) and provide final quote(s) to stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions
Core Responsibilities
- Quote received & Intake/assessment process to including validation
- Understand Cost and Pricing Analysis (CAPA) & Small Business requirements
- Work with Sales, BD, and Program Management on quote strategy
- Schedule and facilitate Quote kick off meeting with key stakeholders
- Facilitate Go / No Go Quote decision execution
- Manage Customer RFQ in conjunction with Internal Issued log / bid release form
- Process Customer Requested Product Life Cycle Analysis utilizing a specific software application
- Strong financial acumen related to quoting and return on invested capital (ROIC)
- Calculation of material cost, production, labor & overhead cost, & NRE’s, adders (ex: freight), attrition, and CAPEX cost requirements
- Populate and finalize quote(s) in Spartronics template or customer template – same as below – also moved below the calculation line
- Deliver final quote(s) to include the lead-time and/or costed bill of material(s) to either PM, Sales, Site Mgr., and/or Controller
- Attend meetings and provide information as required
- Quote rework as required
- Provided certification of pricing and delivery as required
- Retain all records for future reference during Win or Requote process.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma required, and bachelor's degree preferred
Required Experience:
- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant job experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Advanced skills MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong computation and analytical skills
- Ability to negotiate professionally
- Ability to effectively communicate in all forms with others inside and outside the organization
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
- Ability to problem solve issues involving multiple variables and limited standardizations
- Ability to multi-task effectively and adapt within a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to conceptualize and understand technical reports, data, and drawings etc.
Physical Requirements:
Typical office environment with occasional exposure to light manufacturing environment.
