We are looking for a Workface Planner to join our construction team on a project site in Granbury, Texas

Who you’ll work with:

You will join one of our teams on a selected Project in US and work directly with our clients.

You will also work with subject matter experts from different organizations and different fields (Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Information Management and Material Management)

What You'll Do:

As a Workface Planner, you'll be the bridge between the construction field and project planning. You'll utilize your hands-on experience to develop clear, concise, and executable Installation Work Packages (IWPs) that empower foremen and crews to perform their jobs efficiently and safely.

Here's a closer look at your responsibilities:

Planning and Scheduling:

·      Collaborate with General Foremen and Foremen in the morning to identify gaps and constraints in planned and issued IWPs.

·      Translate the Construction Work Package (CWP) schedule and Superintendent's plan into actionable IWPs.

·      Schedule IWPs and maintain their status in project scheduling software.

·      Coordinate with field supervision and project controls to ensure optimal IWP sequencing and scheduling.

IWP Development and Management:

·      Develop IWPs from CWPs, following the General Foreman's guidelines and ensuring they're "foreman-friendly" and can be completed within a set timeframe (1-2 weeks).

·      Utilize the Workface Planning software to generate and manage IWPs throughout their lifecycle, from creation in the 3D model to field completion.

·      Facilitate the assignment of IWPs to Foremen.

·      Perform revision control checks in Document Management Software to ensure IWPs are current.

Logistics and Support:

·      Identify and proactively remove constraints that might hinder IWP execution (drawings, materials, predecessors, scaffolding).

·      Coordinate with various departments (Quality, Engineering, Turnover) to ensure alignment on IWP execution.

·      Perform administrative tasks related to IWPs, including generating material requests, identifying permits, scheduling scaffolding, and managing test packages.

·      Collect and report daily progress for the construction workforce.

·      Support Field Engineering with the development of test packages and collaborate with the Turnover Coordinator on punch-list and turnover packages.

Who You Are:

·      A seasoned construction professional with hands-on experience in the field, ideally as a Foreman or General Foreman.

·      Proven ability to develop and manage work plans that are clear, concise, and executable.

·      Experience working within the specific construction discipline for which you'll be planning.

·      Strong understanding of industrial construction practices.

·      Proficiency in basic computer skills (Excel) with a willingness to learn new construction management software.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders.

·      A proactive problem-solver with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.

·      Commitment to safety and a passion for ensuring a smooth and efficient construction process.
