Skillset:
*Bachelors degree in a human services related field.
*2 years of experience in case management, performing mediation and facilitation, and supporting youth and families.
*Bilingual fluency in speaking, writing, and reading English and Spanish
*Valid drivers license and personal card with car insurance coverage
Day to Day:
A federal client is seeking a Bilingual Family Advocate who will work with a clientele of youth and families to provide services that will support the overall family unit, DCFS alumni, and other adults in the local community. The Bilingual Family Advocate will be responsible for working directly with families (in-person and over the phone), some home visit work, teaching classes (parenting, financial education, resume building, anger management, etc) and providing reports/documentation. This role will be 80% in office and 20% in the community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
