- Minimum of 3-5 years purchase experience in logistics & equipment
- A university degree in business administration, engineering or corresponding experience
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Stakeholder and supplier management experience
- Project Management experience
What you'll be doing day to day
As a Category Purchaser you will have the full responsibility for securing the Group Procurement purchase from end-to-end perspective in the area
of warehousing automation for IKEA’s logistics operations.
You will be responsible for building long term partnerships with key Suppliers and create trustful relationships with Stakeholders to identify
business needs.
You will be responsible for securing the Procurement deliverables in omnichannel projects, supplier management, supplier performance and
delivering results based on Ingka and Category strategies.
In projects and in the daily operations you will work actively across multiple business functions to facilitate and support the overarching objective
of optimizing the total value contribution from Ingka’s automation investments.
You will actively monitor the external market conditions to find new business opportunities within your subsegment
