What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at Insight Global?
Due to the recent natural disasters throughout Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee, our client is actively hiring for Construction Estimators.
There are additional openings for Construction Managers, and Engineers to join their team for disaster relief efforts.
Cost Estimator : We are looking for individuals that have prepared construction cost estimates for the infrastructure projects, particularly : residential, multi-family residential, site / land development, and utilities (water / power / wastewater).
Proficiency with MS Excel and professional cost estimating software is a must, especially RS Means Cost Works.
Provide cost estimates for FEMA anticipated construction and engineering services related to direct housing missions. Examples of the task to be estimated include installation and alteration of FEMA TTHUs and / or MHUs, demolition, site layout, site preparation, residential repairs, and building and grounds alterations.
Cost estimates may be preliminary in nature, or for use in Agency cost estimates for contracts, task orders, or modifications.

Compensation / Benefits
This person will receive hourly pay (weekly direct deposit) - overtime pay - and daily per diem.
