Job Description:
3 years’ experience with:
o JIRA administration and set up for JIRA on demand and on prem (server/host).
o JIRA design configuration including custom workflows, notifications, and issue types.
o JIRA schemes such as permission scheme, notification scheme, issue security scheme, etc.
o Service Desk configuration and integration with JIRA .
We are looking for a results-driven Business Consultant with advanced Atlassian admin and development skills, effective communication skills, and ability to apply agile scrum principles to self-organize delivery activities using our project engagement playbook. Experience must include hands-on accomplishments with admin rights to Jira/Atlassian instances. Candidates should be self-starter with instincts to act with urgency and possess a passion for getting things done. Familiarity collaborating with distributed team members using Microsoft Teams or Slack is a plus.
Individuals in this role deliver Atlassian-based solutions to internal customers, and we operate as part of the DMI Business Solutions group within the Data Management & Insights organization (DMI) (equivalent to the Chief Data Office). We work in agile scrums with Product/Process Owners to understand their functional needs and deliver work in time-boxed sprints. The Atlassian Business Solutions Consultant will have Admin or Project Admin rights depending on sufficiency of skillset. Consultants coordinate with our System Admins for design conformance, higher-level requests, user permissions and role-based access groups.
