JOB DESCRIPTION
A large global retailer to looking for a Node.js Developer to join the International Organization to support CPC Smart elimination technical activities for the Canada Market. There is an existing set of microservices developed in Node.js on their internal cloud, they need help making extensions and improvements to that set of interfaces. This is a heads down development role where they will spend all of their time hands on developing. They will be involved in the discovery, architecture design, implementation, testing, and deployment of the changes on CPC Platform and the CPC EDGE platform for Conflux integration. They will also be responsible for documentation of the changes to the CPC platform.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
4 years of total development (java or nodejs)
2 years of recent microservices development in Node.js
Exposure to any Cloud environment
1 year of experience in an Agile environment
1 year of experience in Devops tools for CI/CD (Jenkins, maven)
DESIRED SKILLS
Java development
Experience with Kafka or messaging queue
Experience with Kubernetes
