An employer is looking for a Registered Nurse (Crisis Stabilization Unit) in the Chula Vista, CA area. As a Registered Nurse you will be a competent clinician who provides nursing care in a skilled and effective manner. The behavioral health unit can expect a 1 to 6 patient ratio, where the main focus will be de-escalation and intervention when necessary. As a Registered Nurse in this in-patient unit, you will be expected to coordinate care with practitioners, nurse managers, doctors, and therapists etc. on a case-by-case basis. You will be expected to assess each patient, then coordinate which unit or care they will be assigned to. This unit will use the Cerner EHR system for all charting. Shift schedules will be comprised of 3 12-hour shifts a week. Night shift: 7pm - 7:30am.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
